9.    Arcadian Shores Golf Club. Located in the section of Myrtle Beach known as “Restaurant Row”, Arcadian Shores is one of the area’s most historically significant golf courses. House Of Blues - Myrtle Beach

Home to unique pieces of folk art by Jimmy Lee Sudduth and Ruth Mae McCrane, House of Blues Myrtle Beach was built to resemble a Southern farmhouse with adjoining tobacco warehouse. The menu here is divided up into signature appetizers, fire-roasted flatbreads, blues classics, fresh salads, savory sandwiches, juicy burgers, kids meals and desserts, accommodating a wide range of tastes and levels of hunger. For starters, nibble on some jalapeno and cheddar cornbread with Maple Butter, tear into Chicken Wings! Consider the Lobster Mac & Cheese, a dish made with poached lobster meat in a rich, creamy cheese sauce made from scratch and topped with crunchy panko bread crumbs. In addition to classics like Caesar and Cobb, there are unique new flavor combinations like the Herb Crusted Salmon Salad and the Buffalo Chicken Salad. Sandwich options range from a Philly Cheesesteak to a fresh fish sandwich. The Kids menu is pretty basic – chicken tenders, pizza, pasta, hot dog, etc. – but the Dessert section has several sweet tooth options. Bourbon Bread Pudding, Triple Chocolate Cheesecake, Key Lime Pie, and Coconut Cream Pie, all compete for your taste buds if you have any room at all.

The House of Blues Myrtle Beach tickets are mainly for general admission/standing room with 60 bar stools being first come first serve to general admission ticket holders. There is also a Blues Bar in the restaurant featuring live music nightly. The sugar Shack Deck features a raw bar and Top 40 dance music, plus a bar with live music in the courtyard. The House Of Blues Myrtle Beach retail store is located in the Courtyard and is open year-round.

Best & Worst Gifts for the Golfer in Your Family

It depends on the golfer, and the store, and the golf balls you buy. Here’s a look at our best and worst gifts for the golfer on your list:

1.  Drivers: the worst golf gift is trying to buy a driver for a golfer without knowing what they want.

2.  Golf balls: if you don’t know the type of golf ball your golfer uses, your best bet for a good golf gift is to go with Titleist ProV1s. For an avid golfer, the worst golf balls you can buy someone as a gift are the buy 1 get 2 free golf balls at the local sports store.

3.  Golf shirts: so 10 years ago, buying a golfer a golf shirt was probably the safest purchase you could make. If you don’t know your golfers style, then a golf shirt can be a risky purchase. The worst golf shirt you can buy would be the total opposite of the person’s fashion style. A little golf shirt investigation never hurts.

With all of the new brands in golf equipment to apparel to golf balls, golf gift buying isn’t quite as easy as it used to be. But if you follow these tips, you should have a happy golfer this holiday season.
