City parking in Myrtle Beach uses the meter system - which is not a problem in metropolitan areas, however Myrtle Beach is NOT a metropolitan area. It’s a seasonal city so Myrtle Beach will capitalize every chance they get.
North Myrtle Beach is also home to many of the newer condominium buildings. I also read in an article that North Myrtle Beach has “wider” beaches, as in the space between the dunes and the ocean water.

It's in a terrific location, the rooms are nice, on inspection was spotless and dust-free. While Paradise is easily the best, the Palms isn't bad. Everything appeared new and in great shape. Myrtle Beach was gorgeous! Staff was attentive and friendly. Walking distance to the boardwalk, several restaurants, shops, and mini golf.
